OMNI Systems, Inc., the premier manufacturer of thermal labels in North America, has commissioned additional hardware to increase production capabilities at the manufacturing plant in Richmond Heights, OH. The new state-of-the-art equipment installations include an additional Printing Press as well as 3 new Automatic Turret Rewinders to bring new efficiency and productivity to the company's expanding business.

OMNI Systems took delivery of this high-speed, multi-color, 16-inch press in September. By middle of the month, the press was running at full capacity printing and converting labels at rates of 350-400 feet-per-minute.

The 3 Automatic Turret rewinders will further automate Omni's processes and provide the flexibility to wind both small diameter rolls on small cores and well as larger diameter rolls on larger cores.

"Demand for our products has been steadily rising at the average rate of over 20% over the last three years," says Michael Kisha, Omni Systems' Vice President of Manufacturing and Distribution. "This new investments will provide additional capacity and help streamline our processes to allow us to continue on our growth trajectory."

OMNI Systems has seen record revenues and significant growth over the years, and has been making significant continual investments in automation while maintaining our commitment to a debt free operating environment.

Earlier in May, OMNI announced it had installed the EFI-Radius ERP system to integrate all of its business functions.
